The Emil Sigerus Museum of Saxon Ethnography, keeper of the Saxon culture and civilization in Transylvania, successor of the Carpathian Museum, has the most valuable ethnographic collections with a Saxon profile, bearing the name of the great personality, with significant merits in this field, Emil Sigerus.
The Franz Binder Museum of Universal Ethnography is the only museum in Romania profiled on the capitalization of extra-European heritage. Currently in conservation, the museum defines its vision as an anthropological museum of world cultures, designed to contribute to the understanding of the social phenomena of contemporary society.
