The route starts from DN 57, about 50 m upstream of Dubova City Hall, continues through the forest on a footpath, with an average slope of 30 degrees to a viewpoint, from where you can see Stirbățul Mare, on the shore Serbian. The path continues along the edge of the hornbeam and garrison forest, crossing an area with lapis lazuli and sinkholes, until it reaches one of the most spectacular viewpoints. From this point, the route follows the ridge of Ciucarului Mare, marking the most beautiful views over the Cazanelor Mici and Cazanelor Mari, as well as over the bay of Dubova. From the last lookout point, the route goes through several meadows, reaching again the point where the sinkholes and lapis lazuli are very well represented, so specific to the exocarstic relief.
