Cluj

When you enter the city of Cluj-Napoca you find three plaques with three names: Cluj, Kolozsvar and Klausenburg.

Due to its role in the historical development, the city of Cluj is also called the “Heart of Transylvania”.

During the time when Transylvania used to be a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Cluj was the capital of the empire's province.

Due to a series of events that took place here in 2015, including the first edition of the UNTOLD festival, Cluj reached the youth map, being the second university centre in the country and becoming the European Youth Capital.

Cluj-Napoca has a lot of tourist attractions and monuments, and if you pay a visit you will definitely not forget the traditional cuisine.
