The house, the first and only one in which Anton Pann lived without rent, was bought - together with the place - on February 20, 1848. Located a short distance from St. Stelian-Lucaci Church, in which Anton Pann sang on the right, the house has a large yard, where the owner was able to move his printing house. In this house, Anton Pann made the second edition of his masterpiece, The Story of Speech, and later, Nastratin Hogea's Nezdraveniile, the other top creation signed by the author, as well as A Seater in the Country or Mos Albu's Journey. Entered the MNLR patrimony less than 1 year ago, today the "Anton Pann" Memorial House opens its gates and enters the public circuit for the first time, which can be visited free of charge until the end of the year
