The apartment where the "Ion Minulescu and Claudia Millian" Memorial House is currently located was purchased by the Minulescu family in 1934. In 1991, Mioara Laurentia Minulescu, the daughter of Ion Minulescu, a plastic artist, left the apartment and the heritage in it. by will, to the National Museum of Romanian Literature. The collection in the apartment of the poet Ion Minulescu (1881-1944) includes literary documents, letters, manuscripts, original photographs and an impressive collection of paintings and sculptures.
Among the signatories of the works of art located here are Alexandru Ciucurencu, Margareta Sterian, Henri Catargi, Iosif Iser, Victor Brauner, Camil Ressu, Lucian Grigorescu, Cecilia Cutescu Storck, M. H. Maxy, Al. Satmari, Oscar Han, and some works are made by Claudia Millian (1887-1961), the poet's wife.
