
The memorial house "Tudor Arghezi - Martisor", a unique space due to its history and memories, is located in the house where the poet lived, one of the three great innovators of the Romanian poetic language, since 1930, and it was imprinted in the local memory under the name of "Martisor".
According to the testamentary wish of the writer, starting with 1974, it became the memorial house.
The building is composed of ground floor and first floor, a total of 18 rooms, discreet, without stunning in any way, to which are added the outbuildings. In the collection here, the visiting public can have access to furniture objects dating from that time, books, art objects, photographs, original documents of the poet Tudor Arghezi (1880-1967).
Martisor is known especially due to its orchard and through the literary workshops organized by our museographers, intended for kindergartens, schools, families, where we look forward to seeing you between September 15 and June 15, during each school year.
