
Built in Romanian Renaissance style (Brâncovenesc style), Mogoșoaia Palace and Complex, combines Venetian and Ottoman elements, being composed of its own "palace" - the inner courtyard, the Gate Tower, Cuhnia (old kitchen), Villa Elchingen (old house) guests), the glacier, the family tomb and the flower greenhouse.
The palace was built until 1702 by Constantin Brancoveanu in Brancovenesc style, a style previously used in another palace of the voivode, built by him at Potlogi. The work was completed on September 20, 1702, according to the inscription on the east side of the palace. The date of construction began is not known, but it is known that Brancoveanu began to buy land in the area in 1681.
Historical monument of national interest, includes the palace itself, the church "Saint George", the gate tower, the cuhnia, the villa d'Elchingen, the greenhouses, the enclosure wall, the park and the glacier.
