Salina Slanic Prahova is located approximately 100 kilometers away from Bucharest, in a landscape of particular beauty, due to the hills covered with deciduous forests.
The Unirea Mine, also known as Salina Slanic Prahova, is located at a depth of 208 meters and occupies an area of 53,000 square meters. It was opened for visiting after 1970. The tourist route offers a foray that allows you to observe some spatial elements of tourist interest inside the salt massif. They are represented by folds with a development of tens of meters, marked by alternations of bands with various colored shades, between gray and white, as well as by various mineralogical characteristics, such as structure, texture and mode of crystallization, together with the special purity of the jump.
